Entry Level Flight Instructor Jobs are a great way to build commercial flight hours and practice core pilot skills such as teamwork, effective communication, and aeronautical decision-making. Entry level positions typically hire pilots with as little as 250 hours and often value pilots with multiple ratings, including CFII and MEI.

Airtec, a government contractor based in Maryland, is hiring multiple Second in Command (SIC) pilots for the ISR OCONUS program in the King Air 300/350.

The most common jobs for low time pilots are Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) roles and SIC positions at aerial imagery companies. However, the job opportunities increase after a pilot has accumulated more flight time. This chart shows a sample of companies and flight operations based on the minimum Total Time listed in their recent job listings.
